Have you ever felt like time is rushing by and there's nothing you can do to stop it? Lots going on in my little world. As for a query update, I currently have 3 partials out and I'm eager to hear back from each and every one. It's always exciting to have an agent review your work. It's even more exciting when they ask for a full (fingers cross! Wait, I have talent. Why wouldn't they ask for a full. *Repeats positive pep talk*)
BUT, and that's a big but (not butt, I have been working out) when it comes to writing, I've been bad and haven't written nuttin' since March! (I know, what kind of writer am I?) My Muse went on spring break and I think she's still in Mexico, or wherever fairy-like creatures hang these days. I've got a couple story ideas floating around, but honestly, I'm having too much fun reading to write a lot. Seriously. I read a book a day. The library LOVES me. It's research people, research.
I'm on the cusp of writing, or so I tell myself, I just need that spark. Looks like I better go hunt down the lighter fluid...

LOL. I hadn't written anything except for my blog for almost two months until two days ago. Don't feel guilty. It happens!
Well...I haven't really written anything on like a year. I've edited my tushy off though! Several projects. I am soooooooooooooo ready to write something new again! Just gotta finish editing this last project.....but then my editor will probably have me start official edits on my next book...... It never ends. :)
I finally found my muse again- all it took was me getting out of work!

This sounds like me... I wrote possibly three days since April and I need to get my game on. At least you have one out there in some hands. Good job! :)
Yay, I'm not alone. I feel better and maybe today will be the day I start writing again. Life sometimes just gets too busy, ya know? Stree. The killer of creativity.
