Everything I Need to Know, I Learned From Writing

Imagination never grows up.

Determination will get you further than talent.

Patience makes success that much sweeter.

Dedication is the foundation for achieving your goals.

Emotions are what give us life.

Bravery gives you courage to face the unknown.

Dreams aren't just for sleeping anymore.

Confidence is the voice that encourages you to believe in yourself even when others don't.

Creativity flows through everyone--just not along the same river.

Optimism is human nature.

Happiness can be found everywhere if you only look.

That's my list. What have you learned from writing?

Everytime I think I'm progessing, I am. But I also learn that I am farther away from my progression than expected. "Two steps forward, one step back"...

I love that list!

Patience does make success sweeter, but waiting is oh so hard!

VERY nice list!! :) During this whole quest for publication, I've learned how determined and focused I can be.

Jen--I'm hoping the more I write, the better I'll become and the steps back will be minimal :)

Stephanie--I hate waiting! But I'm much more patient then I used to be. I can thank publishing for that!

Stephanie--(the other one :) Focus! That's a good word. I can have all the determination in the world, but if I'm not focused, the writing will be crap.
