Hooked on Historicals

Up until 3 months ago, I'd never read a single historical novel, but now I can't seem to get enough of them. If makes sense, I love Jane Austen, so why wouldn't I love historicals?

So far I've read:

1. Golden Tulips (Rosalind Laker)
2. Dancing for Degas (Kathryn Wagner)
3. The Apothecary's Daughter (Julie Klassen)
4. To Dream of Snow (Rosalind Laker)

I'd love to read more. Do you have any suggestions?

Of course I do!

Mistress of Rome by Kate Quinn
East of the Sun by Julia Gregson
Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden
Memoirs of Cleoptra by Margaret George
Shanghai Girls by Lisa See
Year of Wonders by Geraldine Brooks
I, Elizabeth by Rosalind Miles

I could really keep going, but I'll stop there. I have a huge bookshelf that's all historical fiction. I love historicals!

I thought of you Steph when I was writing this post.

Thank you so much for including East of the Sun. I checked it out once at the library, but didn't have time to read it and instead of extending it, I returned it and for the life of me I couldn't remember the title! I knew it had "East" and "Sun" in it and I know what the cover looks like, but I couldn't find it these last two months. Thank you so much! Looks like I have some reading to do.
